On our previous post, we talked about the first 3 issues in video marketing and how to fix them. Let’s go on with the other 4 issues.
𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘆. People love buying, but nobody wants to be sold to. That’s why your message should include a story to gain your prospect’s trust. Show how you can add value to your prospect’s life.
𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁. So you’ve put out your content. Have you included your brand? Put your logo and website on the video so that people will know who you are and will remember your company when they have to make a purchase decision.
𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼. Just because you have video content doesn’t mean your target audience will come automatically. You still have to promote it. Don’t just put it up on your website. Share it on your social media accounts. Put it on your email newsletter.
𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗘𝗢. SEO is not just for written content. It applies to videos too. Include your target keyword in the title. Mention your target keyword (naturally!) in your video. Craft a captivating meta description.
𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝗧𝗔. So you’ve got viewers. Now, what do you want them to do after watching your video? Comment, like, or share? Or go to your website? Or buy? Let your viewers know what action you would like them to take. Guide them to your desired action.
There you have them. Be sure not to commit these mistakes, ok?
